Elvis Presley was scheduled to perform two concerts at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine on August 17-18, 1977. Sadly, Elvis passed away on August 16, 1977, the day before the first show, canceling the concerts. Many fans kept their tickets as souvenirs of the shows that never happened.
