Louis performance at Busch Stadium. All of these items were kept for years taped in a fan scrapbook. The pros of preserving these items in this manner is the remarkable condition of the front of each piece and the cons are the minor damage to the back of the items where the tape was used. This lot includes an exceptionally rare pink "field box ticket stub" in mint minus condition with a very clean separation from the smaller stub end and is very crisp and clean except for the tape damage on the back. Keep in mind that this concert took place in torrential downpour and the Beatles were very concerned that they be electrocuted by the sound equipment that was not grounded in those days. We follow Perry Cox closely and regard his expertise highly and when we reached out to ask about this field box ticket, he said that it was much rarer and better looking than the green ticket for this show. The included smaller green ticket stub from the same concert is also very rare because it's the portion that was taken by the ticket taker and is in a similar mint minus condition.

Also included, the actual ticket envelope from the ticket office, an anti - Beatles flyer probably picked up outside the venue, a newspaper article advertising ticket sales for this performance, an article about the Beatles successful return to England, the envelope and a note from the original ticket holder that he mailed the collection in, and the actual ticket owners 1969 Beatles fan club membership card.
