BOB WILLS & Texas Playboys 1935 Unused Concert Ticket. Original ticket to hear BOB WILLS & THE PLAY BOYS back in 1935 at the American Legion Auxiliary Dance at the Roosevelt Inn. Original ticket price: 40 cents! 1935 was an historic year for Bob Wills. That same year he had added horn, reed players and drums to the Play Boys, and in March took on steel guitar whiz LEON McAULIFFE!

They also made their historic first recording sessions that year at a makeshift recording studio in Dallas, laying down 24 songs--the band's earliest known recordings. Measures 3 1/2" x 1 7/8". Excellent condition with slight browning on edges, as shown. Exceptions are the more expensive items.
