August 17th, 2016 is the 50th anniversary of this concert. It was written on the back from a fan. I was 13 years old and went to this concert with my mom and my girlfriend. As you can see, I was in love with Paul McCartney and my girlfriend was in love with George Harrison.
We didn't have the greatest seats but that didn't matter. But all through the concert, I remember thinking that Paul McCartney was singing and looking just at me. I wasn't a screaming fan. I remember telling everyone around me to stop screaming so I could hear Paul sing to me. And I was 13 years old.
Even to this day I amaze my husband when a Beatle movie comes on, I can sing every word to the songs. He says How can you remember the words to all these songs after all these years? I tell him " back then I played the records over and over and over again". And I still like their music to this day. This was the last Beatle concert ever outside of the United States including England. The ticket is unique because it has all 4 Beatle heads displayed.
Thanks to my mom for saving all my Beatle memorabilia and I have a lot. This ticket is 50 years old.
It is hard to believe that much time has passed. It is in good condition. I had it covered and kept in a book all these years.
There are no staples, pin holes or creases. But it is time to let go. If you need any proof of ownership or credability, I will certainly try to provide whatever is necessary.
