This is very, very cool. As shown, the stub is tapped to a page of the scrapbook. Could the tape be safely removed?

I assume so, but I don't know anything about paper conservation, so I don't want to risk tearing it by attempting to remove the tape. That said, why remove the tape, and therefore the ticket, from its longtime home within this amazingly extensive and original scrapbook? Said scrapbook's creator lovingly(and obsessively) tapped countless newspaper and magazine clippings, plus many interesting and one-of-a-kind itemscustom arcade/boardwalk keychain charm, concert Kleenex, etc. Condition wise, the scrapbook's binding is almost non-existent, but it's still, more or less, in one piece. Many of the clippings have become detached from their original tape and are therefore loose between pages, plus some loose items appear to have never been tapped.

Overall, the condition of this scrapbook is somewhat fragile, but if browsed and stored carefully, it should continue to serve as a fun and unique time capsule, compiled by an extremely enthusiastic Beatles fan.
