Concert Ticket Stub Gaumont Bradford The Beatles Friday October 9th 1964. Opening night of the Beatles / Mary Wells Tour and John Lennon`s 24th Birthday. The Press were there in force due to it being Lennon`s Birthday and the first night a Birthday Cake with Candles was presented to him half way through. A young girl was invited to sing Happy Birthday to him backstage in front of the press but nerves got the better of her.
The ticket represents over night queueing outside the venue such was the demand. The colour is a slight orange tint of yellow.
