ELVIS PRESLEY GENUINE CONCERT TICKET STUB, FEBRUARY 16th 1977 MONTGOMERY ALABAMA

  

FEBRUARY 16th 1977, 8.30pm. This is a genuine, original concert ticket for Elvis Presley's concert performance at the Garrett Coliseum, Montgomery, Alabama on February 16th 1977. This was to be Elvis' last concert in Montgomery before his untimely death exactly 6 months later on August 16th 1977. Elvis performed to a crowd of 10,928 and on this occasion wore his Rainfall jumpsuit for what would be the last time.

Many photos exist from this concert as it was attended by notable photographers George Hill and Keith Alverson. The ticket is over 45 years old and is in excellent condition, it was torn on the right hand edge on entrance to the concert. The ticket measures approx 64 x 41 mm, it was printed by Quick Tick of Houston, Texas and the front exhibits the'raised and textured' print that was a security feature of these tickets, this shows up well in some of the photos.
