An original concert ticket for The Mayflower Club, Gorton, Manchester on the 28th July 1979. The ticket was for Stuff The Superstars Special and is numbered 201. Several artist were listed to play including Joy Division, The Fall, The Distractions and Frantic Elevators, featuring Mick Hucknall who went on to form Simply Red.The stub measures 11.5cm x 9cm (4.5 inches x 3.5 inches). There is a horizontal crease line and areas of creasing around the edges. The condition is very good minus. The ticket comes with a double sided handbill. The front of the handbill is advertising the 28th July concert and the reverse lists a Gig Guide for July and August 1979 at the club. Notable performances include the following: The Fall and Echo and The Bunnymen on 20th July. Adam And The Ants on 21st July. Slaughter And The Dogs on 6th August. The Specials on 10th August.
The Slits on 11th August. The handbill measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.25 inches x 11.5 inches). There is creasing over the surface and a small hole towards the centre. The words Foreign Press 4 have been added as well as some numbering next to the artists listed on the front. The first item is charged at the normal rate.Near Mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws. Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable.
