A piece of Queen history! In 1974 an up-and-coming band called Queen supported Mott The Hoople on their tour of the United States to promote their new album Queen II. This tour started on 16th April 1974 and was scheduled until 7th June 1974, however, as die-hard fans will know, founding member and guitarist of Queen, Brian May, was taken ill with acute hepatitis part way through the tour and as a result Queen's final concert was on 12th May 1974 with all subsequent gigs cancelled - s. Ome tickets had already been printed and here is one of them! Such historic tickets very rarely come up for sale. On the rear is written'Mott & Kansas' - maybe Kansas were the replacement support band? Great collector's piece of vintage music memorabilia from the most flamboyant band of all time.
