RARE Beatles 1965 Atlanta Concert Ticket Stub Radio Contest News article + more

  

This is an ultra rare lot. My mother in law won a ticket for the 1965 The Beatles USA tour when she was 15 years old. The ticket is for the Atlanta show.

Wednesday August 18th, 1965 8:15pm Gate R Aisle 120 Row 7 Seat 104. Included in this is a letter informing her parents that she won the ticket from WTOB radio station in Winston-Salem North Carolina. The letter is a "Condition of WTOB's Beatle Trip To Atlanta". After the concert the radio station sent another letter thanking her parents for allowing their daughter to go to the show.

Also a newspaper article from the local paper writing about the two girls who won tickets. My mother in law is the girl on the left. The tour program is also included in this collection. These items have been stored in the original envelope from the radio station. At one point the ticket and newspaper article were taped into a scrapbook. There is tape residue to these items.
